A law that is known called as Martial Law. A law that implies the imposition of direct military control of normal civilian authorities in the government. Also, it can be used by the government to enforce a rule over the public. A law that suspends the ordinary law. It is a controversial issue in our country. It was proclaim by our President due to the conflicts between Armed Forces of the Philippines and Islamist group in Marawi crisi and the continuous chaos all over the place. Consequently, terrorists are very likely to try to carry out attacks in Mindanao. Terrorist groups continue to plan attacks and have the capacity and the intent to carry out attacks at any time and anywhere in the country.
Moreover, that’s the main reason why it is a must action to extend and continue the Martial Law in Mindanao. Recently, left and right bombings and killings all over in Mindanao happened. Different rebellions dominates the different parts of the place. They were fully alert and hype to attack cities such as Zamboanga, Sulu and etc. People in the affected area are struggling and suffering from emotional and mental trauma. Especially, children ages 15 below suffers the most.
The government should attain and sustain the safety and peace in the whole area in order for the people to be calm. Also, promote and conduct programs for the people in order to be ready in times of unexected chaos brought by the terrorists.
As a concern Filipino citizen and living in Mindanao, I really want to help my co Filipinos through this. There are simple things we can do to prepare for terrorist attacks and reduce the stress that we may feel if another emergency arise. Taking preparatory action can reassure you and your family that you can exert a measure of control and calmness to face the unexpected situations. With the increased risk of terrorism all over Mindanao, all people are required to be vigilant always. Always be mindful, active and aware. The physical protection of the facilities has become the focal point of how to achieve the accurate level of “safeness”. Extending Martial Law is a great help for the people living in Mindanao to maintain the safety and peace in the area. Also, in everything that we will do, we should not forget the Man up above to protect and guide us wherever we are. Thank you for reading! God bless us all.
